Career Connections and Support for Women
Meeting Saturday, April 26
Hello everyone,
This is Elisa Ortiz. I'm going to be hosting our next career retreat group meeting on Saturday, April 26 from 11 to 3. I think we're reading Chapters 5 and 6 in "Not So Big Life" but you can certainly correct me if I'm wrong.
The party room in my building is booked, but I have no problem hosting people in my apt--as long as you let me know whether or not you'll be coming.
I'm in Arlington and very easily accessible by metro. Here are the full directions from the metro and the street address for those that are driving:
1200 N Veitch St, Apt 520
Arlington, VA 22201
For those Metro-ing: The building is called Courtland Towers and its located a block behind the Courthouse Metro. When you get off the train, there are three possible exits--take the one to the right (towards the movie theater and Courthouse Plaza). There is a door in the tunnel to your right that leads out into a parking garage under the plaza. Walk through the garage, bearing left and exit out the back. Our building will be right in front of you, a block away.
For those driving: the Courthouse Rd exit off of Route 50 is the easiest way to get here. Once you exit, take your first left onto 13th St. The building is on the left once you hit the first stop sign. Street parking is best, but you can get a 4 hour parking pass for the circle right in front of the building by going to the concierge desk.
For everyone: Once you enter the front door (which is always open), go up the escalator. Turn to your left and walk toward the mailboxes (its almost a hairpin turn). Go through the door immediately in front of you and walk down the hall until you see the elevators on your left. I'm on the 5th floor (Apt 520).
