Hi Jen--thanks for joining us! Looks like you're both busy and ambitious! I can relate to loving your 5-block commute to work. It's one of the reasons I love working from home--no travel! :-)

Profile Information

Hometown:
Washington, DC
About Me:
My husband and I are owned by two dachshunds and live in DC, in a culturally diverse area with green space and a strong indie economy.

I live and work and love my zero carbon-footprint commute in the Adams Morgan neighborhood. After traveling cross-country as Development Director for The Hanover Research Council (www.hanoverresearch.com), walking the 5 block commute to my new position as Associate Administrator at Christ House (www.christhouse.org) is a welcome change.

I keep busy with my blog (Health Management Rx), volunteering for Dress for Success, Adams Morgan Main Street, and MEDBANK of Maryland, as well as other professional and personal development activities (I do NOT like to be bored:).

One of my 'offline' passions is helping young female professionals become more involved with Boards.
Career Goals/Interests
Hospital CEO by 35. Exec. Director or Hospital Administrator by 30. Steps: First, grad school (hopefully Georgetown Master of Health Systems Admin Spring 08).
