I received an undergraduate degree in English and a Master's in Organizational Management with a concentration in Nonprofit Management. I've been volunteering and working in the nonprofit community for six years within the fields of historic preservation, youth development, and capacity building. My experience includes fundraising, human resources, financial management, communications, and education/training for nonprofit staff. Currently, I serve as Director of Development and Finance at a nonprofit membership organization where I manage fundraising and resource development as well as the organizational and financial health of the organization.
Career Goals/Interests
To serve as a nonprofit executive director, foundation president, or tenured university professor. No matter the role, always learning and serving my community.

I've only worked at NCNA/the Nonprofit Congress since April so I wasn't at the first national meeting last year. Almost as soon as I got here though, a bunch of people told me to check out your blog :)
