I have worked in the nonprofit sector for my entire professional career, primarily in women's rights and reproductive rights. I'm currently working at a nonprofit association who's mission is to strengthen the entire nonprofit sector through support, capacity building and an initiative called the Nonprofit Congress.
On a personal note, I live with my partner in Arlington, own a business as an Independent Consultant with Slumber Parties, Inc., love to read just about anything and consume pop culture like its going out of style!

I just want to say 'thank you!' to the ladies in the group who met up on Saturday to talk about Chapter 3 in Not So Big Life and debated the merits of accumulating and discarding 'nuts' in our lives. Well I'm stuck with some major projects for the next 6 months at least (I work for myself), so I don't think I'll be able to consider that for awhile, but definitely something to keep in mind. And I know who to go to if/when I'm ready. :-)
